‘Country Charm in the City’

This garden is like a country garden in the city, complete with a beautiful Alitex greenhouse. A myriad of wildlife is supported by two small ponds and a wildflower meadow. Several vistas were created across the wonderfully wide garden from the greenhouse to a bench and from the bench to an urn below the rose covered pergola. It has plenty of mixed borders for cutting flowers which was a special request by the clients. Designed for an elderly couple, it has a beautiful path meandering around the garden for easy access for everyone young and old. We were so lucky with the size of the garden, we could also discreetly accommodate a three-bay composting area hidden behind yew hedging, enabling all garden waste to be sustainably broken down and redistributed as mulch. We’re particularly pleased that this garden supports the complete cycle of life. As seen in House and Gardens, June 2025.
